In this project we investigate how the will to control and oppress is often exercised by those in positions of authority using gestures of love. A sound piece (created onsite in collaboration with d.a.p.A. ) interposes harmonious and discordant passages, hijacking a.m.s.r techniques in order to trigger a sensory response in visitors. By bringing to the forefront the essential elements of the enquiry (control/violence/love) a fifth element is introduced into the exhibition space, obliging visitors to inhabit simultaneously the roles of perpetrator and victim.
